PCR vs. Vector Cloning

Length:
PCR replicates short fragments of DNA compared to Vector Cloning where it clones the whole DNA strand

Price:
Vector Cloning is relatively cheaper but PCR machine is a better investment

Uses:
Vector Cloning is used for gene expression where PCR is used to make copies of the same DNA fragment in a short period of time
PCR is commonly used  in forensics and crime investigation

Speed:
PCR is faster in a short period of time

Damage:
For PCR, if one strand is contaminated, the copies of it will be useless as well
But for Vector Cloning, it grows in yeast so if some of it its contaminated, the rest can still be used

NOTE:
for PCR, calculating the usefull strand formula is
2^n-2n
